Inevitably, over the course of reviewing dozens of mice, a reviewer has to classify various models as "small" or "large." While most of us know roughly whether our hands fit into these broad categories, there aren't many ways to know for sure. Every mouse has a different shape, and the only way to know whether any specific one will work for you is to try it. Ergonomic mouse manufacturer Goldtouch and its FlexMouse ($104 for the wireless model we tested) takes the guesswork out of that equation. This basic mouse comes with a set of magnetic base shells, which allow you to tailor its fit for small, medium, large, or extra-large hands. It's a novel idea for users who've had trouble finding something they love, but the FlexMouse doesn't have much else going for it, as it drops all but basic functionality to achieve its interchangeable goal. It's simply too much of a compromise for the money, no matter your hand size.
